A faster plan starts with seeing the house.

Internet speed at the modem is only one part of the story. A router behind a television in the front corner of a brownstone cannot serve the top rear bedroom well. An extender in a dead zone only repeats a weak signal. A high-speed plan does not correct either problem.

We test where people actually notice trouble: the desk used for video calls, the kitchen speaker, the upstairs bedroom, the patio camera, or the television that buffers every evening.

Good home networking is a physical problem, a radio problem, and sometimes an account problem.

“Slow Wi-Fi” can mean several different things.

One room is always weak.

Usually a coverage, construction, or placement issue—not a reason to buy a faster internet plan.

Everything slows down at night.

Device demand, interference, provider congestion, or an aging gateway may be involved. We isolate which one.

Cameras and smart devices go offline.

Weak edge coverage, band compatibility, DHCP issues, and overloaded consumer equipment often show up here first.

    Measure the important rooms.

    We test signal, performance, and stability where the household works and lives—not only beside the router.

    Remove avoidable problems.

    Old extenders, duplicate networks, poor settings, and unnecessary ISP routing are cleaned up first.

    Place or add equipment deliberately.

    If new hardware is needed, it is selected and positioned around the home, wiring, and expected device load.

    Leave a supportable network.

    Names, key equipment, and important settings are documented so the network is not a mystery six months later.

Can you improve Wi-Fi without replacing everything?

Often, yes. Placement, cabling, settings, old extenders, and ISP equipment are reviewed first. If the existing hardware can provide dependable coverage, we keep it.

Do mesh systems solve every dead zone?

No. Mesh can help, but nodes still need good placement and a reliable path back to the router. Thick masonry, plaster, metal, radiant barriers, and poor node placement can make an expensive mesh system disappoint.

Can you help with a larger home or renovation?

Will you work with our internet provider?

Yes. We can identify whether the issue is inside the home or with the incoming service and help you have a more useful conversation with the provider.

Which rooms have learned not to trust the Wi-Fi?
