Inherited cabling

The label and the cable do not agree.

We trace relevant runs, inspect terminations and uplinks, and determine what can be trusted before building on it.

Wrong placement

The access point is where power was easy.

Convenient installation can create poor cell shape, interference, and roaming problems in the places people work.

Hidden capacity

Coverage is strong. Performance still collapses.

Client density, channel width, retries, uplinks, switching, and internet capacity can matter more than signal bars.

Flat networks

Every device can see every other device.

Staff, guests, printers, cameras, and building systems often need sensible boundaries and different support expectations.

Every layer has to support the one above it.

A polished access point cannot compensate for an overloaded switch, a weak uplink, or an unclear provider handoff. We follow the connection end to end.

Equipment selection should come after the site, device load, cabling, and operating requirements are understood.

Can you improve an existing UniFi network without replacing everything?

Often, yes. We inspect the controller, gateway, switches, access points, uplinks, cabling, channel use, VLANs, and client behavior before recommending replacement. The right fix may be placement, configuration, cabling, or only one constrained part of the system.

Do you perform cabling work?

We assess and document cabling needs, test relevant runs, define placement and technical requirements, and coordinate with qualified low-voltage installers when new structured cabling is required.

Can you design separate networks for staff, guests, cameras, and building systems?

Yes. We use practical VLAN and firewall boundaries based on the devices, users, and support requirements in the space. Segmentation should improve safety without making the network impossible to operate.

Do you support UniFi Protect cameras?

Yes. We can plan camera locations, network and power requirements, recording capacity, user access, and the relationship between Protect and the broader UniFi environment.

What does the space ask the network to do?

Send the address, floor plan if available, current UniFi equipment, and the rooms or systems causing trouble. We’ll determine whether you need a survey, cleanup, or full design.
